Kevin, Jonathan, and Kyle have had a passion for metal processing and its endless possibilities since grade school. In the decades since, the three brothers have shaped and honed their skills through various job opportunities in the machining, fabricating, and welding industries, eventually starting Arc and Gauge together in 2010.

The brothers’ mastery of metal processing—from tig or mig welding various types of ferrous and non-ferrous metals to fabricating or machining items in an array of materials and finishes—makes Arc and Gauge stand out from other shops. 

Arc and Gauge is rooted in Dundee, Ohio, the heart of Amish Country. The brothers first came together around the desire to learn more about the unlimited possibilities of the metal processing industry, forming JK Welding in 2010.

Through various relationships and networking in the local community, the brothers were able to acquire a local machining company, VEB Machine, in 2019. The former owner of the company joined the brothers, bringing with him 38 years of experience in CNC machining.

Shortly thereafter, the brothers changed their name from JK Welding to Arc and Gauge to better reflect both their welding and machining expertise.

The team had another opportunity to expand their operations in 2020 by acquiring another local company. Coreline Manufacturing produced steel fixed and adjustable columns. Arc and Gauge makes these columns today under their product line Coreline.

Today, Arc and Gauge specializes in processing custom metal parts from start to finish, including design, welding, robotic welding, CNC machining, stamping, and more.
